Who are we?
Gold Coast & Albert District Horse Trail Riding Club was formed in January 2009 by a group of like-minded horse enthusiasts who wanted to join ATHRA (Australian Trail Horse Riders Association).
Whilst sitting around a camp fire, we decided that our club would cater for the geographical area from the Albert River near Beenleigh to the north to the Tweed River just before the NSW border - from the east coast between these two landmarks over to the western suburbs of Cedar Creek, Logan Village and Chambers Flat.
Not only are our club rides within the SE Qld corner and just over the border – but when you join our ATHRA club you can ride with any of the other 120 ATHRA clubs Australia wide.
Our riders come from all over the Gold Coast and Brisbane - they know that we love to have a great time and are always on the look out for rides that are fun and exciting. We offer split rides to cater for -- the "try-hards' and for the 'die-hards'!'No matter your capability you'll find you are welcome to come horse trail riding with us and that you'll enjoy rides that suit your level of horse riding expertise.
